Going Home: Siblings

Brothers & Sisters

Sometimes brothers and sisters have a hard time accepting a new baby in their home, especially if they have been an "only" child.
Things to do:

Have a "special" present or two for him from you.
When he sees you for the first time in the hospital, you should not be holding the baby until you have a chance to give him some hugs.
Let him hold and touch the baby as much as he wants (with help from an adult, of course).
Spend extra time with him doing his favorite things.
