Visiting Nurse Association (VNA)

Since 1916 Visiting Nurse Association has been committed to providing quality health care for people in their homes. Whenever the need arises you can rely on us. Nursing response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is available for our patients and their families.

• Lifeline Personal Response System
• HomMed Monitoring System

Visiting Nurse Association of the Wabash Valley works with your physician to provide skilled care by a licensed health professional on an interim basis:

• Health assessment
• Chronic disease teaching and management e.g. diabetes, heart disease and lung disease
• Wound care
• Foley catheter care
• Tube feedings
• Central line care
• IV therapy
• PCA pumps
• Colostomy care
• Dressing change
• Education on medical condition and treatment
• Evaluate safety as it relates to patient care
• Laboratory specimen collection
• Conferring with your physician about your progress and needs
• New baby checks
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Speech Language Pathology
