Incentive Program

Clients are awarded points during visits for healthy lifestyle choices and practices throughout pregnancy.

On the second visit to The Maternal Health Clinic, clients can start accumulating points. These points are awarded as they are earned. Our receptionists will hold the point sheet and keep track of the points that have been earned and the ones that have been used. When 5 points are accumulated, a coupon will be given to take to The Helping Hands store to choose five items. The store is located at 960 W. National Ave in West Terre Haute, IN (next to IGA). Store hours are Tuesday 9 a.m. - Noon, Thursday 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. - Noon.

Points are awarded for behaviors such as appropriate weight gain, keeping appointments, and breastfeeding while in the hospital. Some healthy behaviors are acknowledged by the giving of bonus prizes and extra points.
