What Our Patients Say: Testimonials

UHHG is committed to providing the best possible patient care, and perhaps the strongest indicator of this commitment can be demonstrated in the satisfaction and words of our patients.

My father was at Union for a heart cath last week. I wanted to commend the nurse on 1A who took care of him after the procedure. Lee Graham is the epitome of what a nurse should be. He was caring, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. UHHG is blessed to have such a wonderful person in our family. Just wanted you to know how thankful we are for your care. It is very much appreciated! God is so good to us! Grandpa is much better now and we are very thankful! He couldn't have recovered that well without you. You are an awesome team! Thanks again for all you did! You are a blessing!

I was a patient recently, here at UHHG - from 10/17 to 10/19. This was quite an unexpected admission from the doctor's office and at that time the hospital was full so they had to admit me to Peds, in 3038. I was not feeling too good so really I didn't care where I was. I want you all to know that out of all my visits(there have been many), this hospital stay was the absolute best. All of the Peds staff was awsome!! They were very efficient, professional, and very caring. That also goes for the House-keeping Department that was assigned to Peds. I cannot say enough about all of them. I cannot remember all the names of the girls that took care of me (sorry), just a few of them are Janet, Julie, and Amy. They're all great!! To everyone on Peds, I send my sincere thanks for helping me in my recovery and helping me tolerate my hospital stay. Thanks,

Thank you for being compassionate and sensitive towards my feelings while treating me. Having just finished cancer treatment and thinking I was possibly going to have to face it again was not a good feeling. But thank God I got a good report! I appreciate your thoroughness, especially last year when you found my cancer, when another doctor blew me off for two years. You very possibly saved my life!

I would just like to start by saying Thank You for all the great support and help that has been given to my family from your caring staff. On October 26, 2006 my wife, daughter, and daughter's boyfriend was involved in an accident at 3rd and 8th the level of care that was given to them and my family by the ER staff was outstanding and very grateful. To Doctor Bennett I say Thank You for all you did and put up with from my family, your were great and caring and understanding. I commend you for a job well done. The outstanding care was not just there, it moved on with my daughter to the OB department where she remains a patient today as of October 28, 2006. The two nurses in particular that has shown the dedication of a professional and went above and beyond what we considered to be excellent care. First, I would like to thank Anita she cared for my daughter on Thursday night, not only did she have my daughter but she also had 1 or 2 other pt's in labor. For someone who was very busy she did an outstanding effort of caring for my daughter. Then there is Jenna B. wow what a nurse, she has to be one of the most thoughtful people I have ever gotten to meet. She delivered a level of care to my daughter and family that were only dreamed of by people. She did a fantastic job with us all. I would like to see both of these people recognized for their outstanding performance for what they have done, and what the others have done as a whole. Keep up the great job in being #1, you both truly live up to the Union motto of patient care is priority #1.Thank you.

To All the Staff on 1B

"...the care and thoughtfulness I received was excellent. You made my hospital stay a lot less stressful for me and my wife." To Mylissa--"thank you for being there with me during my time of need" To Susie--"thank you for your patience and understanding--your kind words were most appreciated. Jana--"It's people like you that make this world a better place."
