Avian Infuenza
H5N1 has caused the largest number of detected cases of death in humans. Most cases have occurred in children and young adults. Currently, the spread of H5N1 virus from human-to-human transmission has been limited and has not continued beyond one person. There is major concern that one day H5N1 will evolve and spread from person to person. |
