Summer Student Nurse Externship

This program is an opportunity for the Student Nurse to participate in a 7 week paid program. The student must have completed the junior year of the Baccalaureate Degree Nursing program. The program allows for working one on one with an RN, completing assessments, performing treatments and procedures, and giving medications and choosing two clinical areas of interest. Following completion of the externship one may choose to continue to work part-time or prn. Priority consideration will be given clinical placement upon RN graduation.
