Surgical Technologist

Union Hospital Surgery is an 11-suite Operating Room. Surgical care is provided to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. Patient ages range from the neonatal period to geriatric patients. Surgical intervention is provided to those patients requiring surgery including, but not limited to, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, urological, dental, obstetrical/GYN, general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, organ procurement, and acute trauma. Currently, Union Hospital performs an average of 845 cases per month.

West Central Community Hospital has two Operating Rooms and one endoscopic procedure room. The hospital performs an average of 85 cases per month in the OB/GYN, orthopedic, and general surgery fields.
