Union Hospital Offers Pre-Diabetes Class

The Union Hospital Diabetes Education Center is offering a Pre-Diabetes Class beginning June 16. The class will help educate participants on how they can delay or prevent the onset of Type 2 Diabetes.

The class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month through Dec. 15, 2009. The cost is $40 and includes a personalized meal plan, glucose monitor, health care resource information, complication awareness, physical activity guide and more.

CampCare -
Come Join the fun!

June 8th - August 14th.

CampCare is a summer youth camp for ages ages of 7 - 12 sponsored by Union Hospital. The camp is limited to the summer vacation weeks of the area school corporation.

CREATING A HEALTHY COMMUNITY

Every gift to the Union Hospital Clinton Foundation, regardless of size, benefits the community. These gifts are used to purchase needed equipment for Union Hospital Clinton to meet the health care needs of residents of Vermillion and Parke counties. Donations to the foundation can be earmarked to a particular department or for greatest need.

Commemorative gifts, those made in memory or in honor of an individual, provide a thoughtful way to remember a friend or loved one who has passed away.

Scholarships

The WCCH Foundation offers scholarships to part-time or full-time employees who wish to further their education. Scholarship applications are available in the hospital's administration office.
